Minister of Health Mai Alkaila said last night on Thursday that 20 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the West Bank, bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours to 54 and the overall total in Palestine to 1588.
Alkaila said in her statement that 18 of the new cases were in Hebron, the current epicenter of the disease in Palestine, and two in Ramallah.
A total of 620 have recovered and five have died, which makes current active cases stand at 913.
