Israeli settlers cut 40 olive trees in Nablus

Israeli settlers today chopped down more than 40 perennial olive trees in Nablus, northern West Bank.

Currently, of the circa 35.000 inhabitants in Nablus, 65% live under the poverty.

Recently the West Bank has seen a noticeable rise in Israeli settler attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property despite the coronavirus lockdown.

Around 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank, according to official data.
